The St. Bernard Project is 4 NOLA because we believe the people of New Orleans deserve to return home. Why are you 4 NOLA? Tell us in 30 seconds or less in your own video.

We’re seeking video submissions that describe why people are 4 NOLA through their own unique perspectives. There are a lot of reasons to support New Orleans, but here are a few topics we suggest as starting points:

• Food
• Culture
• Rebuilding
• Music
• Volunteering
• History

We would also suggest you follow a format similar to this one, though creativity is always welcome:

“Hi my name is Bob, I am from Anytown, USA. I am 4 NOLA because I have come down to volunteer three times with the St. Bernard Project, and I met incredible homeowners while I was down there. When I did finishing work in Joe’s house, he cooked the volunteers gumbo every day and told us what Gentilly like before the storm. I would ask you to be 4 NOLA by supporting the St. Bernard Project."

After you have filmed your 4 NOLA piece, we invite you to upload it to YouTube and let us know by sending an e-mail with the link to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . If you don’t have a YouTube account, you can save the file as an .AVI or .MOV file and e-mail it directly to the address above.

We’ll update our YouTube page three times a week with some of the 30 second videos that reflect what being 4 NOLA is all about, so keep checking in!
