With thousands of families still living in FEMA trailers or subsidized housing, the St. Bernard Project feels compelled to do more. That is why this March SBP launched Million Dollar March, a
national competition among colleges and high schools to raise $1,000,000 – enough to rebuild 66 families’ homes.
MDM is a campaign that empowers high school and college students to raise $1million in cash and in-kind donations in 2010 for the rebuilding efforts in the New Orleans area. Each hour of volunteer labor is valued at $10, so every student that volunteers with SBP is contributing to the $1million!
Here are other easy ways you can get involved:
Buy an SBP t-shirt!
Be a part of 1 Million Free Throws 4 NOLA by shooting a Free-Throw and donating $1 when you are at our office! Visit 1million4nola.org to see Digger Phelps' PSA and get more information about this national campaign!
Text 'NOLA' to 50555 for a $5 donation to be added to your phone bill - text all of your friends and family to ask them to do this too!
